On behalf of the Los Angeles Firemen’sRelief Association, I cordially invite the members of the Bel-Air Associationto become honored in-kind sponsors or join us for the cocktail reception, auctionand dinner portion of the 15th annual LAFD Invitational GolfTournament at MountainGate Country Club in Los Angeles, California on Monday,September 24th, 2012.
All proceeds from the tournament benefitthe Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen’s Fund, a 106-year-old,non-profit, 501(c)(3), dedicated to helping the families of firefightersinjured or killed in the line of duty. Our LAFD heroes rush to the rescueday in and day out protecting our homes, businesses and preciouslandmarks. By participating in this event, you're giving back to thosewho sacrifice so much, yet never ask for anything in return.
The event is a great opportunity toshowcase the interests of the Bel-Air Association as well as any companies,shops and services provided by the members of the Bel-Air Association and meetnumerous LAFD personnel, as well as corporate executives from a number ofsponsoring companies. We always need items for our silent auction, such ashotel, restaurant and spa certificates, product gift baskets, gift cards,shopping sprees, electronics, sporting goods, concert and sports event ticketsand numerous other products.
Last year, proceeds helped provide acollege scholarship to the daughter of a firefighter who passed away while onactive duty. None of this is possible without the kind and generoussupport of our gracious donors. Therefore, we respectfully request you join usas one of our esteemed, 2012 dinner-only guests, in-kind donors or purchasetickets for the golf ball drop. The Bel-Air Association and donatingcompanies will, of course, get recognition at the event and on our website forone year. We greatly appreciate your support.
