Full Freeway Closure - Sept. 29-30

ATTENTION RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES IN THE VICINITY OF THE SAN
DIEGO FREEWAY (I-405) AND THE MULHOLLAND BRIDGE


The I-405 freeway will be closed in both directions in the Sepulveda Pass for an entire
weekend beginning Saturday, September 29, 2012, at midnight to support the demolition
of the north half of the Mulholland Bridge. The freeway is anticipated to reopen on the
morning of Monday, October 1, at 5:00 am. On Friday, September 28, 2012, ramps within
the freeway closure limits will begin to close as early as 7:00 pm and freeway lanes will
begin to close as early as 10:00 pm, leading up to the full freeway closure at 12:00 am,
midnight. See list of scheduled closures below.

Closures
- Northbound full freeway closure between the I-10 Freeway to the Ventura off-ramp
- Southbound full freeway closure between US 101 Freeway to the Getty Center Dr.
ramps
- Mulholland Bridge
- Northbound I-405 Connectors to US 101 Freeway
- US 101 on-ramps at Ventura Blvd.
- Northbound and Southbound US 101 Freeway to Haskell Ave. off-ramps

What to expect:
- There will be multiple construction work activities occurring within the closures.
- Traffic guide signs will placed in the surrounding communities of the freeway
closures beginning Wednesday, September 26, 2012.
- Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
