Now, I am a firm believer that Christmas doesn't start until the day after Thanksgiving.  This was always the rule in our house.  On the Friday after Thanksgiving- rain, snow, sleet, or shine- we would go cut down our Christmas tree and then and only then could Christmas begin.  Not a day, or even a moment before. 

I have to admit that I have slightly broken this rule in the last two years.  The boys are so young that I figured they needed a little extra time to learn all of the Christmas songs, so I've cheated a little and turned on the Christmas radio stations in mid-November.  Please don't tell my dad.  He would be quite disappointed in me!  And now I'm going to cheat again- just a teensy tiny little bit.   Shhhh!!

Please know that the fun won't officially start until this Friday, but I've just been dying to post this and since its at least Thanksgiving week- I'm doin' it!  I would like to introduce you all to Dash and Bash.  The boys named them (after two of their favorite trains), without actually seeing them yet.  Dash and Bash are no ordinary elves.  For one, they are twin elves, and I must tell you that twin elves have a reputation for being quite mischievous.  For two, they are the distant cousins of Cindy Sprinke Decare- and I can tell you with complete certainty that Cindy is known to be the most mischievous elf of all time.  Until now.  Move over Cindy- Dash and Bash are ready to blow your little elf socks off!

Starting the morning after Thanksgiving, we will be updating the blog with Dash and Bash's daily adventures.  I highly recommend that you stay tuned!  Follow our blog on the right hand side of this page and make sure you like our Facebook page as well.  I promise you aren't going to want to miss this  :)
