GYM TAN LAUNDRY

I am seriously tempted by this bag from Nerdy Kids Vintage. In other news, when did Pringles lose their apostrophe?
I don't think I could ever be on Jersey Shore, but I am one step closer to this lofty goal. I WENT TO THE GYM. Remember last year when I went to the POOL? This is like that, but bigger. Public exercise is one of my biggest anxieties, but after a really refreshing week in LA and San Luis Obispo, I somehow gathered the strength to walk down the street, pay the exorbitant walk-in fee (I'm not allowed to buy any more gym memberships until I prove that I can actually enter the building more than once), and plop myself down on a stationary bike.

On her therapist: "She said I was afraid of success, which may in fact be true, because I have a feeling that fulfilling my potential would really cut into my sitting around time."
It felt really great to have "a win," even one that sounds totally ridiculous and tiny to the anxiety layperson. I also did something that I've been meaning to for ages; I created a page on this blog that compiles a bunch of the resources that I think are helpful for healthy times. It's called "Resources," and it's up at the top left. Take a look and let me know what you think; I'm taking suggestions and will add anything up there! I was inspired by Maria Bamford, a totally awesome and successful comedian who talks about her depression and OCD in the bestest way and has a big old collection of links to things that have helped her out. Also, Sarah Silverman is surprisingly (or not surprisingly?) candid about her mental health issues. I'm indebted to these successful, hilarious women. So, enjoy! I may or may not be at the gym.
