Please see attached email for further Hi Bel-Air Association,THEFT FROM VEHICLE PREVENTION TIPS 3RD ROW SEAT THEFTS Don’t be a Victim. Lock your 3rd row seats *Thieves have recently been targeting Chevy, Cadillac, and GMC full size SUVs and stealing the 3rd row seat. *The thieves break into the vehicles, unlatch the seats and take the 3rd row seat. *The seats are made to be easily removable and are a valuable addition to these SUVs. *The inherent cost of these seats makes it a desirable item for thieves. *Van Nuys Auto Detectives encourage SUV owners to secure your 3rd row seats by investing in a simple bicycle cable lock and locking it to the vehicle’s floor board. Engrave it with an identifiable number (i.e. vehicle’s VIN number). Or if you do not use your 3rd row seat, secure it by taking it out and store it at home. This will make your 3rd row seat less desirable for the thieves. Van Nuys Auto Detectives would like to encourage you to SECURE IT, ENGRAVE IT, or REMOVE IT.
