Renowned photographer and filmmaker Norman Seeff, whose life-sizeblack-and-white celebrity images were recently installed in the popular bar atHotel Bel-Air, will be hosting a free lecture in the bar on February 19th.
Atthis informative and interactive event, which is complimentary from 3 to 4 pmand open to the public, Seeff will use his remarkable archive of film and videoto illustrate how he used his photo sessions as way to explore the innerdynamics of creativity, both personally and with his subjects.
Longacclaimed as a master of rock and roll photography, Norman Seeff’s work hasresulted from three decades of celebrity photo sessions -- sessions whichbecame legendary events in the 1970s and ‘80s, and which continue to this day.Seeff’s images have been featured on the covers of TIME Magazine, RollingStone, Esquire, Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine and more. His photogenius was featured in Apple’s famous “Think Different” campaign and on theback cover of Walter Isaacson’s recent biography of the late Steve Jobs.
