A Chuggington Lesson

The boys had a surprise guest teacher for preschool this morning...  DADDY!  Yesterday daddy had a snow day because it was so icy outside, but it warmed up throughout the day and rained for most of the afternoon.  So we totally didn't expect that he would get another day off today, but I guess the back roads didn't thaw out enough for the buses to get through this morning- so daddy was home with us again and helped the boys with their preschool lesson!  The boys are quite obsessed with the Chuggington trains right now so we made today's lesson all about Chuggington  :)

Daddy celebrated his snow day by making Action Chugger pancakes!
The boys working on their handwriting and reading- tracing the names of six different Chuggington engines, then they had to sound out the names Cutting skills- cutting out six rectangles each with a picture of a different engine

Reading and matching- The boys had to read the name of each engine, then find the matching picture of that engine and glue it next to the name

Practicing our numbers
Chuggington counting and numbering- They are both GREAT at the counting part and at tracing the number, but our free hand numbers are a bit unidentifiable still!
