California Adventure- Day 10

Had kind of a relaxed day yesterday.  In the morning we took Alex back to the Paul Rodriguez skate park and all three of the boys had a blast.  Caleb learned to ride down a curb- I think partially on accident the first time but then he got pretty gosh darn good at it!  Then both of them rode down this giant ramp totally on their own...  they're starting to make me a bit nervous!!!  Jon and I have been searching high and low for a set of knee and elbow pads small enough for them without any luck, but its really time that they start wearing some because they're reall cruising now!

So at nap time Alex and Grandma attempted to put the boys down while Jon and I went out on another search.  The good news was we found a set that is still a bit big but will suffice.  The bad news was that Alex and Grandma both got outsmarted by two two year olds and and by the time we got back home, the boys were gleefully running around the condo celebrating their victory of Grandma, Alex, and nap!  The grown ups are seriously losing this battle!!!

In the afternoon Jon and Alex headed downtown to the X Games for the skateboarding big air competition- they got to see some great skateboarding!!!  My parents and I took the boys to see UCLA's campus, but of course they fell asleep in the car and woke up crabby 20 minutes later so it was a short trip!  I can't believe how beautiful the campus is...  we'll definitely take Jon back so we can go explore some more  :)
